Trauma healing can be simple without complexity. I consider the simplicity of trauma healing comes from the basic knowledge of how a person can experience life as being a human by learning the basic living skill regarding different aspects of the holistic being. When the pandemic swipes the world, people’s living life goes back to the basics. Basic, Basic, Basic. The reset button for a person to get access to trauma healing is to collaborate with the basic support and to learn with the basic skill for living and engagement. People may wonder, the life they have lived for has been more than decade, for what sake they need to restart and to relearn to live? The reality is that trauma healing requires the person to care, to educate, and to nurture with their inner child, so that the vulnerable part of the person can experience life with new adventures and new learning. A child only has the capacity to learn the fundamental knowledge of the basics to establish a stable foundation for growth. Thus, basic is the easy and simple way to allow a person to get evoked by new awareness and to absorb new learning. Part of the reason a trauma response has been activated is to make survival, and people simply require the essential and basic need to survive and make a living while going through the process; thus, learning the basics is just simply the fundamental approach to trauma healing.
Are you considering trauma healing might be a complex process? Being a trauma healer myself, my personal healing experience has taught me what makes trauma healing seem complex is that a person has to learn new basic knowledge and skill in different aspects of the living life in which serves the person to achieve new growth and new evolvement for living in peace in the present day. The different aspect of the living life, in here, refers to the holistic being that consists of physical practice, emotional practice, mental practice, relational practice and spiritual practice. The basic skills and knowledge to practice healing living in these five domains require the person to take time and make effort to improve and to complete the whole self to move life forward with full awareness and flexibility to make changes.
