SPACE
Look around the space you are in, I would like to invite you to find one area where you feel safe and able to sit on a chair comfortably.
Now, have both of your feet touching on the ground, have your back sitting straight and notice the spot inside your body where it supports your upper body while you are sitting on the chair, have your head looking straight.
Now, relax and drop your shoulder, relax your back and allow your body really sit on the spot where it supports you, relax your legs and allow the bottom of your feet sink into the ground.
BREATH
Take a deep breath into your stomach, then fill the air into your lung. Imagine your head is like a balloon, and continually breathe the air into your headspace, hold the breath for 5 seconds, 4, 3, 2, 1; Now slowly, breathe out the air through your mouth in 10 seconds, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
STILLNESS
Relax every part of your body, and sit in stillness. Allow the energy and feeling to settle in you, simply allow the energy and feeling to take a lead adjusting your body position and posture, then let your body position sit in place for 30 seconds.
While you are sitting in stillness, give yourself a scan and gently breathing the air in and out through your nose. Give yourself an acknowledgement, where do you notice the weight shifting inside your body? and where do you feel the burden inside your body? Make a note to keep your brain and mind informed.
DEEP BREATHE
Now, take a deep breath, and breathe the air into the place where you feel the weight and burden, allow your breath to lift up your body; feel the expansion of your body and allow your breath to open up your body to create more space for the energy which been stuck inside your body.
Now, breathe out the air through your mouth, allow the weighted energy to move and release the energy, so that you can experience a flow and have a lighter experience in your body.
Breath In, feel your body expanding and taking more space for yourself to live in your existence
Breath Out, give permission to yourself to embrace in a sense of emptiness, so that you have space in you to fill in what you want
Breath In, then, breath out, here is a coaching question for you: how would you like to engage with emptiness that make you feel nurtured?
I hope this exercise promotes you to connect to your emotional being.
