Hello everyone, my name is Keybi Guan, I am a trauma informed coach. I'm not a therapist, and my connection to you is to evoke your awareness to gain understanding of how you respond to your traumatic, and challenging experiences, at the same time support you to discover your potential as building your approach to overcome your trauma or challenges in your effective style.
The pandemic has created many challenges for people to live, such challenges may make you feel physically unsafe. Emotionally overwhelmed, mentally confused, and spiritually disconnected. During this challenging time, it is beneficial for you to proactively create an experience for the self to live in balance. And I would like to invite you to look at this experience in two different lens: one is looking into the internal experience as taking care of your inner self. the second is looking at the external experience as engaging with the outer world.
How are you taking care of your inner self?
How are you engaging with the outer world while remaining a sense of peace in your mind?
It is very normal during this challenging time if you experience stress and anxiety; at the same time, it's important for you to gain awareness of what is going on to you holistically. So I would like to invite you to ask these questions to yourself: the first question is what do you notice when you experienced imbalance and anxiety? the second question is what was your stress reaction or what was your trauma reaction? the third question is how do you respond to your stress reactions? or How do you respond to your trauma reactions?
How much willingness do you have to see new possibility in a challenging life?
During this challenging time, it's important for people to take care of the self. As we look at our internal experience, we're actually looking to engage with our physical body, our emotional energy, our mental brain, and our spiritual soul. So, as we apply the medicine wheel into our internal experience, we are actually engaging with our body care, our energy release, our brain break, as well as our inner connection, in order for us to create a balancing internal experience during this challenging time.
What can you do to enable your holistic self to connect your inner self?
During this challenging time, it is important for people to connect to the outer world. As we are looking at our external experience, we are actually looking to engage to seek safety in our physical space, to remain calmness in our emotional activity, to have neutrality in our mental dialogue, as well as to build a growth mindset in our spirituality; So, as we applied the medicine wheel into our external experiences, we are actually looking to create safe space, practice in neutral activity, connect to supportive environment, and have positive engagement. So that we can create an experience for ourselves to live in a balanced life.
